n the Warehouse we were joined by Sally C. Sally is an Irish born, Berlin based music selector who planted her DJ roots in Scotland where she lived for five years, immersed herself in the local scene, ran her own parties, developed her style and set herself apart as an exciting new talent. Residing in Berlin since 2015, she continued to run parties and DJ at some of the best clubs around the city such as Renate and Griessmühle. Now a full time DJ, she has built momentum as a trusted selector, doing back to back shows across Europe, contributing to renowned mix series, as well as debuting on Boiler Room this past summer where she showcased her raw, bumping style. Her record collection delves deep into late 80’s hip house / ghetto / acid / early 90’s house and she has a developed a knack for selecting timeless, slept on classics that deserve the shine her sets bring. We've been following Sally for a long time now and cannot wait to hear her brand of house in the warehouse.
Upstairs we were joined by Peter Curtin. The Limerick native has long been a purveyor of quality Irish music and currently hosts a weekly radio on RTE 2XM, through which he has supported music from the top talent of the Irish hiphop scene. Away from the airwaves, he is also the man behind Prima Volta Collective, which is known for offering a platform to rising Irish artists. Aside from being a champion of Irish music, Peter is a top-quality DJ and we're really looking forward to hearing the combination of hip-hop, beats and rhymes that he'll bring with him. In the Cabal Social club Paddy Mulcahy undertook a multi-format ambient performance from open to close. Paddy is a composer/producer from Limerick City, Ireland. In his teens he experimented with software and the newly digitised music world of MySpace and was signed to a record label in 2011. During his tenure at Canadian label Limbic Records [then using the moniker ‘nubus’], Paddy found his support, both at home and abroad widening following a number of digital releases. In following years, the Limerick Underground Electronic music scene took off and the producer became a familiar name around Limerick City, alongside his residencies at club nights such as Macronite and D.I.E. Following his time at Limbic Records, the composer/producer began to self-release music on Bandcamp. Following the release of his 2013 album 'Enter Morning', Paddy warmed up for Mmoths in Limerick City. In February of 2014, he performed solo piano at the launch of Nils Frahm's "Sheets" in London. July 2014 saw the release of "Memory Season", which took Paddy around Ireland for live shows, including Electric Picnic. In January of 2015, he played support to Lubomyr Melnyk on his first Irish performance. That June then saw the release of a new solo piano album entitled "Tape Sketches", followed by a live synthesizer performance at Body & Soul Festival. The second half of 2015 was spent working on short films, and new dance pieces with Dance Limerick and Eriu Dance Company, on their new production Linger (Breandan De Geallai, ex-riverdance). The composers album entitled 'How To Disappear' was released November 15th 2019.
