On Monday, March 2nd we brought the Cabal atmosphere back to the UL Student Life Courtyard for a special open air party. We were joined by one of the most influential people in the world of electronic music, Oliver Jones aka Skream for his Limerick debut who was joined on the night by one of our favourite Irish selectors Quinton Campbell for what was by far and away our biggest party to date. First and foremost, we want to say thank you to the 2'000 plus people who came out to party with us in spite of the cold, rain and sleet, you genuinely have no idea how much we appreciate you all. We'd also like to extend a huge thank you to each of the following. The University of Limerick for opening up their doors to us and facilitating us hosting this event. To Skream & Quinton Campbell for a special 3hr back-to-back set that sent shivers down everyones spines from start to finish. To the guys from Hertz-U Soundsystem & One World Sounds for providing their fantastic rig to us once more, Limerick genuinely didn't know what hit it, you could hear the bass from the far side of the city! To the guys from Visual Spectrum Studio for absolutely coming through with the lighting show and for just being such good guys in general. To Scott & Róisín for putting together some of the finest visuals we've had to date, featuring a guest appearance from a dancing Charmander!! And to all the Cabal crew [Alan, Sinead, Leon, Sean, Daire] who helped us produce this event and capture all the precious moments.
